Mother Of The Bride Outfits that we saw were really frumpy and did absolutely nothing for my mother at all. I said that she should look up to the minute and show all the guests what fun she is as a person rather than look dowdy and old as most of these outfits made her look. She agreed with me and, luckily, on our last shopping trip, we found the perfect outfit for her to wear. It has a white dress with large red flowers on it and is really up to the minute in style. We chose a fine knit red cardigan to go with it and, finished off with a lovely hat and a strappy pair of sandals, she looks fantastic.
